Trustfire 900 mAh 14500 Protected Lithium Rechargeable Battery
$4.95
The 14500 lithium battery is about the size of a standard AA but it is 3.7 volts instead of 1.5 volts (1.2 volts for NiMH). They offer long running time and immense power for devices that can utilize and manage that power. Many of today's AA LED flashlights will also accept a 14500 with ease and produce greater amounts of light for a longer period of time.
Note:
Some flashlights cannot handle the additional voltage, so be sure to check before inserting this battery as excessive voltages may destroy your circuitry.
The circuitry inside this lithium cell protects against overcharging and overdischarging, both of which can detroy unprotected cell. The length may be 1-2mm longer than a lithium primary battery due to the added circuitry, but this usually poses no problem except in the rarest of cases.
We do not sell unprotected 14500 lithium batteries because the cost difference is too small and the risk of property destruction and personal injury is too great. Over charge or over discharge the others one time and the battery is destroyed. Short one out and you could start a fire.
